Lard Yao Peter is a traditional hand tattooer who learned to tattoo in the infamous Thai prison "Lard Yao," also known as the "Bangkok Hilton." In the 1980s, he was incarcerated for 4 years and 3 months in a German prison. He escaped and fled to Thailand, where he got in trouble with the law and spent another 4 years and 3 months in a high-security prison.
